    Terms and Conditions of Enrolment at London Carriage

    At confirmation of a position, an official starting date will be given. A deposit will be required to secure this place. The deposit becomes refundable when the following conditions have been met: Four (4) weeks notice in writing has been given to terminate enrolment and all fees outstanding are paid in full.
    The deposit is not refundable if cancellation occurs before the starting date.

    Fees are due the first day of enrolment each week.
    Fees are charged for public holidays, absent days, sick days, exclusion of non immunised children if required by the Public Health Department and holidays taken outside of the official holiday break when the centre is close for 4 weeks.

    Parents are required to abide by the centre policies, which are available for all parents to read at the centre. Please do not hesitate to ask to see the policy manual.

    From 1 January 2018, children who are unvaccinated due to their parent's conscientious objection will no longer be able to be enrolled in child care.

    Priority of Access

    The commonwealth has determined priority of access guidelines for day care centre. In order to comply with Commonwealth Priority of Access guidelines, parents are requested to supply the following information. The three levels of priority as at November 2006 are as follows:

    • Priority 1 : a child at risk of serious abuse of neglect;

    • Priority 2 : a child of a single parent who satisfies, or of parents who both satisfy, the work/training/study test under section 14 of the A New Tax System (Family Assistance) Act 1999;

    • Priority 3 : any other child.

    Parents must indicate to the Director which priority of access category they fall into and advise the Director if there are any changes to this priority of access. London Carriage may require a priority 3 child to vacate a place to make room for a children with a higher priority.
